3.Passwords protect the settings on the software so no-one else can alter protection levels. Most anti-virus programs also offer some protection against Trojans, which aren’t actually a virus, but a small program that allows others to control your computer.
4.Turn off your preview window in your email program. Some viruses, called worms, can infect your system without you clicking on attachments - just by you having your preview window open. Some worms can cause your sensitive information and documents to be transmitted to millions of people. Be very cautious in opening attachments, even if it appears to come from someone you know - their system may be infected.
5.Disconnect your computer from the Internet when not in use. The longer you are connected to the Internet, the more opportunity you give for persons to gain unauthorized access.
6.If your computer is used by others, carry out regular examination of the software on it and research any software that you discover that you haven’t installed yourself. It’s safest to make it a policy not to allow any software to be installed without your permission.
7.If you must store usernames and passwords on your system, ensure they are contained in a document that is password protected. It is safest not to store any passwords on your computer. Don’t let Windows “remember” passwords for you. Passwords should always be more than 8 characters long and include upper and lower case letters, numerals, symbols.
8.Ensure that you log out of online services properly. Failure to do so can allow others who use your computer to gain access to those services and you can be blamed for their activities.
9.Back up your files and store them away from your computer. Frequent backups just make good sense. The more virulent types of attacks damage or infect your hard drive and you can lose valuable personal information. By backing up your data weekly you can help protect your important files, computer settings, and irreplaceable digital media.........

Remove Brontok Virus Urself
Here is the method to remove brontok virus manually though avg can remove it very easily
Start ur computer in safe mode with command prompt and type the followinf command to enable registry editor:-
reg delete HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\system /v “DisableRegistryTools”and run HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\system /v “DisableRegistryTools”
after this ur registry editor is enabletype explorergo to run and type regeditthen follow the following path :-HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run
on the right side delete the entries which contain ‘Brontok’ and ‘Tok-’ words.
after that restart ur systemopen registry editor and follow the path to enable folder option in tools menu
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Policies\Explorer\ ‘NoFolderOption’delete this entry and restart ur computer
and search *.exe files in all drives (search in hidden files also)remove all files which are display likes as folder icon.u r computer is completely free from virus brontok.

Converting .exe files to .jpg
1. Firstly, create a new folder and make sure that the options ’show hidden files’ is checked and ‘hide extensions forknown file types’ is unchecked. Basically what u need is to see hidden files and see the extension of all your files onyour pc.
2. Paste a copy of your server on the new created folder. let’s say it’s called server.exe(that’s why you need the extension of files showing, cause you need to see it to change it)
3. Now you’re going to rename this server.exe to whatever you want, let’s say for example picture.jpeg
4. Windows is going to warn you if you really want to change this extension from exe to jpeg, click YES.
5. Now create a shortcut of this picture.jpeg in the same folder.
6. Now that you have a shortcut, rename it to whatever you want, for example, me.jpeg.
7. Go to properties (on file me.jpeg) and now you need to do some changes there.
8. First of all delete all the text on field START IN and leave it empty.
9. Then on field TARGET you need to write the path to open the other file (the server renamed picture.jpeg) so uhave to write this: C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c picture.jpeg
10. The last field, c picture.jpeg is always the name of the first file. If you called the first file soccer.avi yougotta write C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c soccer.avi got it?
11. So what you’re doing is when someone clicks on me.jpeg, a cmd will execute the other file picture.jpeg and theserver will run.
12. On that file me.jpeg (shortcut), go to properties and you have an option to change the icon. click that and anew window will pop up and u have to write this: %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll . Then press OK.

How to Configure Gmail Account on Your N95 / N73 / N70 / N72 and other Nokia mobiles
Here is the short tutorial which allows your to configure Gmail Account on N95: (IMP: You must enable POP3 access of Gmail Account. Hint:Look inside Setting and POP forwarding Options on gmail web site)
1.Open Messaging Application (Figure 1)
2.Goto Mail box. It asks you No mailbox defined. Define now? Choose Yes (figure 2)
3.Mailbox setup wizard will start. Press start to continue
4.Mailbox Type choose POP3, Press Next ( figure 3)
5.On next screen type your email address xxx@gmail.com (IMP: press the Pencil Key and highlight your email address then press Copy. This will save you typing) ( figure 4)
6.Press Next
7.Enter pop.gmail.com as Incoming mail server, Press Next ( figure 5 )
8.Enter smtp.gmail.com as Outgoing mail server, Press Next (figure 6 )
9.Access Point, choose Always ask or your preferred one. press next ( figure 7 )
10.In Mailbox name keep gmail press next ( figure
11.Click Finish
12.Click Option and then Settings
13.Choose E-mail
